In 1973, in Kano, Nigeria, Joshua Babalola Oluwagbemiga Ola-Ojo received a divine commission through a vivid dream to establish JESUS IS LIGHT MINISTRIES (LIGHT CHAPEL). God led him to leave his former place of worship, shrouded in darkness, and guided him to a church bathed in divine light. Starting as a fellowship in his living room, the ministry was originally called First Christ Church of Light, later adopting its current name in 1990. Now headquartered in Lagos with eight branches across Nigeria, it continues spreading Jesus’ light and meeting diverse human needs.
Pastor Adebayo Funso Adaramola (Pastor Bayo), LL.B; BL; FICMC; JP, has dedicated himself to teaching the uncompromised word of God both locally and globally. His commitment to spreading the gospel has touched countless lives, bringing spiritual growth and enlightenment to those who hear his teachings.
