Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Clinical Fellows (CFY)

Location: Antioch CA

Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract | School Year 2025–26

Salary: $75/hr–$80/hr + Benefits + CF Supervision

VerbaCare Inc is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including

Clinical Fellows (CFYs), to provide comprehensive school-based speech therapy

services across Sacramento Elk Grove locations. Join our team to make a meaningful

impact on students' communication skills in public and charter school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

 Speech-Language Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct screenings,

assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for K–12 students with speech and

language disorders.

 Individualized Education Program (IEP) Development: Develop, write, and

implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

 Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services, including articulation therapy,

language intervention, fluency therapy, voice therapy, and social communication

support.

 Collaboration: Work closely with special educators, general education teachers,

school psychologists, and families to support student progress.

 Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes,

and evaluation reports using SEIS, SIRAS, or district-specific software.

 Professional Development: Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and

ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

 Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.

 Licensure: Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility for

Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

 Experience: Previous experience in school-based settings preferred but not

required.

 Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
