Overview:

A well-established, family-oriented construction firm in Stamford, CT, known for delivering high-quality multifamily and educational projects. They are currently expanding their team and seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts on key projects and contribute to continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full estimating process from take-offs to final proposal.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for MEP pricing and other trades.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project proposals.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout pre-construction.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and directors of construction.

Qualifications:

• 10–15 years of estimating experience, primarily in multifamily and education projects.
• Experience managing projects ranging from 40–300 units; very tall buildings not required.
• College degree preferred but not required; relevant experience is key.
• Stable work history with prior employers in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with subcontractors in Fairfield and Westchester Counties is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Quick-Bid, Timberline, Plexxus, or similar)
