Position: Channel Coordinator, Classic TV, and Westerns

Duration: 05 months

What are the TOP Critical Skills:

Eager and interested in the role, Knowledge and interest in the entertainment industry, how to use office/excel, general understanding of computers, data analytics experience a plus.

Nice to Have:

Familiar with Classic TV(biggest category and is considered classic before 2000), Animals+Nature TV and Western content is a plus.

What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource:

• Knowledge and understanding of programming workflows.
• Building episodes in our proprietary Content Management System (CMS). CMS experience not required, but willing and able to learn proprietary CMS tool.
• Scheduling pre-programmed live stream and episodic channels.
• Tracking and data entry used for programming decisions.
• Understanding of programming workflows and completing tasks within the CMS, content catalog review process, and life-cycle of content.

Qualities / Experience We’re Seeking:

• This is an entry level position.
• Detail oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• A general understanding of databases
• Knowledge of and interest in the entertainment media landscape.
• The ability to pick up proprietary program scheduling software.
• Comfort working with data and understanding how data plays into programming strategy.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Classic TV, and Western content a plus.
