About the Role

The Manager II, Infusion Pharmacy oversees infusion pharmacy operations, including personnel management at designated locations. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing infusion pharmacy operations and staff (pharmacists, technicians, support personnel, students)
  • Ensuring compliance with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and Kelsey Pharmacy policies, regulatory standards, and professional practices
  • Performing chemotherapy and sterile product admixture for clinic departments
  • Collaborating with physicians to monitor patients on therapy, verify chemotherapy orders per protocol
  • Managing inventory, charge capture, and cost-of-service provisions
  • Performing all duties of a registered pharmacist, including accurate dispensing and patient counseling

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from School of Pharmacy
  • Texas Registered Pharmacist license
  • Sterile Products IV Certification
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • 2+ years of hospital/infusion pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of USP 797 and 800 standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Board Certification in Oncology or Sterile Products
  • EPIC experience
  • Proven solid chemotherapy and oncology background
  • Proven ability to write reports (i.e., weekly/monthly) pertaining to accident/injury, maintain logs, necessary infusion records

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
