Role :

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Logistics and Account Manager to join our team in the Bay Area. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and support the Chief Revenue Officer while being responsible for delivery and collection of reusable items, inventory management, along with day-to-day account management. This role will use r.Cup’s 16ft box truck and it’s hydraulic liftgate to pick up and transport reusable cups and serve ware between r.World’s wash hub and our customers’ facilities. Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

Logistics

  • Perform order delivery and dirty collection using company box truck; log time and miles, refuel and clean vehicle, regularly inspect truck, and report road incidents
  • Coordinate with Dispatch Goods to execute order deliveries and scheduled pickups plans
  • Load and unload cups into the truck, customer venues, and Dispatch Goods’ wash hub
  • Document completed deliveries and pickups in r.Turn
  • Represent r.World in a professional manner when client interactions are required
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and most efficient routes
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized box truck

Account Management

  • Develop and nurture the customer relationship to increase retention, solve issues, and drive satisfaction
  • Perform monthly inventory counts at customer venues and Dispatch Goods.
  • Manage customer setup, harvest report creation, invoice completion, and data reporting in r.Turn
  • Obtain referrals and leverage for outreach to potential customers
  • Track and analyze customer data to continually improve customer experience
  • Work closely with Dispatch Goods and r.World’s operations team to provide high quality service.
  • Handle and resolve customer requests and complaints
  • Provide insights from customer data and feedback to r.World leadership and employees in an effort to expand the organization and improve our service and offerings
  • Onboard new Customers including setup and the management of r.Crew staff on-site at Customer venues and events

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience operating a box truck or equivalent vehicle (professional experience preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (commercial driver’s license preferred).
  • Ability to drive for extended periods in all weather.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Physically able to push, lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack.
  • Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Great time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who works well independently.
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments and independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
  • Proven proficiency in customer relationship skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
