Cokinos Young seeks a lawyer to join its Construction Litigation practice in its San Antonio office. Candidates must be self-starters who can work independently and as part of a team to manage a case. Excellent writing and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing the highest-quality client service are required for this role. At least 4-6 years of relevant legal experience is required.

Position & Requirements: Construction Litigation Attorney

Cokinos Young seeks an attorney (associate or mid-level associate) with 4 to 6 years of litigation experience. Knowledge of construction litigation a plus. Key Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience.
• Ability to oversee, manage, and push cases independently as necessary.
• Preference on exposure and familiarity with construction law concepts (liens, construction trust fund claims, delay claims, defect claims, bonds, and related concepts).
• Experience with client contact.
• Responsibility to make sure the court-imposed deadlines are met.
• Significant deposition/discovery experience.
• Strong academic credentials, communication, and writing skills.
• Trial and/or arbitration experience preferred.
