Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer with strong healthcare domain expertise to join our team supporting client's healthcare data integration and transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing EDI solutions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards, and enabling seamless data exchange across healthcare systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development within the healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions: 834 (Enrollment), 837 (Claims), 835 (Remittance), 270/271 (Eligibility), 276/277 (Claims Status).
Proficiency with EDI tools (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, X12, EDIFECS, Tibco, MuleSoft or similar).
Solid experience in EDI mapping, translation, and integration.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and transformation.
Experience working with healthcare payers or providers
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory standards.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment.
