Compensation: $25-28/hour (Based on experience)

Location: Remote (Primarily Southern California)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Support Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This remote position is ideal for someone who excels at communication, organization, and customer satisfaction.

As a service support role within a biotech-focused field service company, we strongly prefer candidates who have prior experience or working knowledge of the biotech industry. Familiarity with biotech terminology, equipment, or service workflows will be highly beneficial in supporting our clients effectively and ensuring smooth service scheduling.

You will play a key role in coordinating service appointments, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and supporting our field service operations with professionalism and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client service requests mainly via email, and sometimes by phone.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Ensure customer profiles and records are accurately updated in our systems.
  • Receive and acknowledge purchase orders (POs) from clients and dispatch service tickets.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm service details and satisfaction as well as future services.
  • Create and manage service tickets in our system.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of all customer interactions and service activities.
  • Updated the CRM with information from Customers and Engineers.
  • Maintain a clear communication with Engineers in the field to update customers on service progress.
  • Reach out to customers to get information about job site requirements and update the ticket for the engineers. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer service, administrative support, or coordination roles. Experience in field service operations is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Work Environment & Travel

Remote position, must be available to meet with the team in person occasionally

Work Hours

Part-time (flexible hours)

Flexibility required to meet customer and company needs

Must be available during standard business hours (Monday–Friday)

Hourly Rate: $25-28/hour

Contract Terms

Initial contract duration: 3 months

Performance review at end of term

Potential for 1-year renewal based on mutual agreement
